Government Support for Innovative Development of The Forest Industrial Complex in Russia

Abstract

This article investigates the problems of increasing the efficiency of state support for the innovative development of enterprises in the timber industry. The disadvantages of the current stage of development of the timber industry complex are largely due to the insufficient efficiency of the forms and methods of state support used by enterprises in the industry. In the work, the author considers the essence of innovative development and defines the conditions for its provision at the enterprises of the timber industry. The author's position is that the key condition for achieving an innovative type of development of the country's timber industry complex is the comprehensive support of industry enterprises from the state. To achieve the effectiveness of state support for enterprises in the industry, its forms and methods should be aimed at mastering innovative methods of conducting economic activities for the harvesting and processing of wood.
