Abstract

Today representatives of different generations work in the organizations. At the same time, each of them has their own moral attitudes, interests and values, which causes a number of difficulties in the implementation of basic business processes and the implementation of management functions in relation to personnel. It is well known that a work team needs a human leader who can not only inspire employees to achieve their goals, but also encourage people of different ages to act together. In this regard, it seems interesting to study the relationship between the manifestation of leadership qualities and the time period when a person was born and in what conditions he grew up. The article presents and generalizes the theory of generations, analyzes the work of a leader with a team of different ages, and draws a certain conclusion based on a survey conducted among representatives of various generations. The material will be useful for both company leaders and their employees.
