Abstract

 The article discusses examples of the application of Blockchain technology and the cryptocurrencies created on it as instruments of national monetary circulation. The author gives 4 main directions of the use of cryptocurrencies as national currency units that are currently used by countries. Also the author gives predictions regarding their further development and coexistence along with other methods of monetary exchange.
