The article examines the food industry as a strategically significant sector of the Russian economy, given its direct link to ensuring national food security, domestic market stability, and the population's quality of life. The study aims to identify and substantiate the key risks likely to impact Russian food industry enterprises over the next five to ten years, assuming current economic trends persist. Particular attention is paid to financial-economic, sanctions-related, foreign trade, technological, regulatory, workforce, logistics, raw material, climate, market, and reputational risks. The article concludes by noting a gradual shift from the traditional view of risk—defined as the probability of isolated negative events—toward a comprehensive understanding of enterprise resilience as the capacity to adapt to sustained changes in the external environment.
