Using machine learning for demand forecasting in the trade sector

Abstract

The article is devoted to the use of technologies in the sphere of trade, namely, systems of goods turnover control and the possibility of their development, by studying the functioning of machine learning technologies for demand forecasting in the sphere of trade. The article presents and describes machine learning models that can be applied to demand forecasting in the context of trade enterprises. The essence of the models is outlined and its use on the example of linear regression is considered.
