Abstract

The article considers influence of consumer lending on the national economy. The article studies mechanisms through which consumer lending influences macroeconomic indicators such as inflation, demand, investment, and economic growth. The work also analyses the pros and cons of consumer lending for the long-term sustainability of the economy.
