Abstract

The purpose of the scientific article is to analyze the features of interaction between state authorities and local government. Problems in their relations that affect the effectiveness of the system of state and municipal government in modern Russia are identified. Promising mechanisms for optimizing the interaction between government bodies and local government institutions have been identified.
