Green Logistics in Russia: Difficulties and Prospects

Abstract

In this article authors pay attention to essence and a role of "green" logistics, the reasons for which the companies address it. Also the manuscript considers the difficulties arising as consequences of disagreements between the principles of "green" logistics and logistics per se. The authors discover and analyze problems which the Russian transport companies face when they realize strategies of becoming socially responsible. Joint Breweries Heyneken LLC is considered in the article as an example of aspiration to "greening" the logistic system in the Russian conditions.
