Maintaining economic security in public procurement is an integral component of public administration and public officials have the responsibility of ensuring that procurement processes are permeated with transparency, fairness and efficiency. The development and implementation of a sound procurement policy is the most important activity for ensuring economic security in the field of public procurement. Such a policy serves to establish criteria and procedures for the selection of contractors and suppliers, as well as to introduce measures aimed at preventing corruption and promoting transparency.
In this discussion, we will delve into the many-sided role of civil servants in enhancing economic security through the development of effective procurement policies. Comprehensive analysis of the constituent components of a procurement policy, such as procurement objectives, procedures, eligibility and evaluation criteria, and contract management. A better understanding of how public officials can enhance economic security by developing a procurement policy that is characterized by fair, efficient and transparent practices.
