Abstract

The article looks at the development of venture investment mechanisms in Russia. The formation of venture capital institutions in Russia takes place under the great influence of the state. The Government has played a crucial role in the creation of regional venture funds. The Russian venture capital market is also affected by global economic and political processes, such as sanctions, global crises, etc. Currently, under the conditions of Western sanctions, as well as the government's course aimed at "digital sovereignty", the development of high-tech and innovative technologies, as well as their financing, are of particular importance. One of the instruments of their financing is venture capital.
