Analysis of customer lending volumes by Russian banks

Abstract

The activity of commercial banks in lending to individuals and legal entities brings banks the main part of the profit. Therefore, the research topic is relevant. The main purpose of this study was to consider the volume of lending to customers by Russian banks, as well as the interest rates at which these loans were issued for eight years from 2012 to 2019. The article presents a brief structural and dynamic analysis of the volume of lending by commercial banks in Russia, as well as clearly reflects the dynamics of weighted average interest rates on loans for the period under study.
