Abstract

The article examines the essence of management accounting, determined its place in the accounting system. The main stages of management accounting development are highlighted. Analyzed the main approaches to the definition of management accounting by comparing the opinions of various scientists. Particular attention is paid to the objectives and goals of modern management accounting.
