Abstract

In the context of global competition and accelerated digitalization, the ecosystem approach is becoming the most important tool for the strategic development of international B2B business. The article reveals the prerequisites and features of the transition from traditional corporate models to an open format of interaction between companies based on digital platforms. The structural elements of business ecosystems are considered, including the role of key participants, the network effect mechanism and the architecture of resource distribution. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the advantages of the ecosystem approach in comparison with hierarchical models. Based on the analysis of theoretical sources and empirical data, the need to integrate ecosystem thinking into the strategic planning of international B2B companies in the digital economy is substantiated.
