This article analyzes the current projects for the implementation of the import
substitution program in civil aviation. The introduction of a new state program for
the development of the industry until 2030 fell on an extremely difficult period for
the Russian civil aviation industry, combining both comprehensive political and
economic pressure on industry enterprises and the need to organize the launch of
long-awaited Russian civil aircraft projects into mass production as soon as
possible. The beginning of their serial production, according to the new state
program, should be the end of the implementation of import substitution within the
industry. It is the problem of implementing import substitution of both individual
components and entire systems in current projects of Russian aircraft that has
become the barrier preventing the implementation of production plans. In order to
eliminate this barrier, the new program separately mentions projects implemented
to eliminate the industry's dependence on imported components.
