Keywords:

Economics and fiction are traditionally considered separate spheres of social life, yet there is a close relationship between them. Economic relations directly influence a person’s behavior, their value system, social status, and life opportunities, which is why they naturally find reflection in literary works. In literary texts, one can find descriptions of trade, entrepreneurship, property, poverty and wealth, financial crises, social inequality, and labor relations. At the same time, literature not only reflects existing economic realities but also allows us to explore their human dimension. The purpose of the article is to examine the main forms of interaction between economics and fiction, as well as to show how literary works help to understand economic processes and their impact on society.
