The article analyzes the economic efficiency of implementing cloud accounting services in small businesses. Mechanisms for reducing operating costs, improving reporting accuracy, and accelerating period closing are examined. Hidden costs of cloud migration and regulatory requirements for financial data processing are assessed. Practical significance lies in substantiating criteria for choosing between on-premise and cloud solutions, considering business scale.
