Ensuring cybersecurity in the financial and banking sector in the context of digitalization

Abstract

The banking system is one of the most important spheres of the economy. It is a link that unites all spheres of people's life and ensures the functioning of the country both at the national level and globally. Within the framework of this study, the author analyzed the statistics of cases of three types of fraud in 2023 compared to 2022. The existing cybersecurity risks of the banking system have been reviewed. The features of attackers using information technology are identified. Examples of possible preventive measures necessary to combat fraud are given.
